About this policy
Senko operates the apps, website, and managed services described here and is responsible for the personal information we process. In this policy, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean Senko.
This policy covers the Senko iOS and Android apps, the managed Senko service, and senko.computer. Senko is a phone assistant that can use AI, files, and device tools to carry out tasks. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to [email protected].
Information we process
- On your device: conversations, attachments, generated files, preferences, integrations, and task history are stored by the app. Local storage does not mean a task is processed entirely on your device.
- When you use managed AI: your prompts, relevant conversation history, attachments, and tool results are sent to the Senko backend and the providers needed to answer. Image editing sends the images you select. Cloud voice features send text for speech generation or audio for transcription, depending on the selected service.
- Account and usage records: we process a pseudonymous account or installation identifier, authentication information, request identifiers, timestamps, usage amounts, task status, and subscription entitlements. Using Senko without a name or email does not make these records unidentifiable.
- Purchases: we process store purchase proofs and identifiers, product information, verification status, and expiry information to validate access and restore purchases. Apple or Google handles payment details; the app does not collect your full payment-card number.
- Service and support information: hosting providers receive network information such as IP addresses, request paths, and browser or app information. We also process information you send when contacting support or sharing diagnostics.
Device permissions and actions
Features may request access to your microphone, camera, photos, contacts, calendar, reminders, location, health data, smart-home accessories, notifications, or other device capabilities. Availability varies by platform. We use the data accessed for the features and tasks you choose. Relevant tool results can become part of the conversation sent to your selected AI provider.
You can deny or revoke permissions in system settings or Senko's permission controls. Some tasks will then be unavailable. Review requests involving sensitive information before sending them. Health information is used for the health tasks you request, not for advertising.
Why information is used
We process information to respond to requests, perform authorized actions, provide image and voice features, maintain sessions, verify subscriptions, account for usage, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and respond to support requests. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, this includes performing the service you request, your consent for optional access, legal obligations, and legitimate interests in securing and operating the service.
Backups, sync, and credentials
When you enable cloud sync or create a backup, the selected data is transferred to the destination you choose, such as iCloud, Google Drive, or an exported file. Depending on your selections, backups can contain conversations, files, integration secrets, and provider credentials. Do not assume an exported backup is encrypted; protect it and share it only with people you trust.
Deleting local app data does not by itself remove copies in backups, connected services, or Senko's managed-service records. You control copies in your cloud-storage accounts. Integration credentials can also be revoked with the service that issued them.
Storage, retention, and security
The managed-service database records identity, usage, and entitlement information rather than serving as a cloud archive of your conversations. Content still passes through the backend and relevant providers during processing. Device diagnostics and any diagnostic files you choose to share can contain task information.
Local history remains until you delete it or remove the app's data, subject to your backups and sync settings. Server-side account, usage, purchase, and security records are retained for service operation, purchase restoration, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal requirements. These records do not currently have a single automatic deletion period. Contact us to request deletion; records that must be retained for a legal or security reason may be kept for that purpose. Provider retention is governed by the applicable service arrangements and policies.
We use access controls and encrypted connections for the managed service. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Processing may occur outside your country through our service providers, subject to applicable data-protection requirements.
Website and source downloads
The landing page and legal pages do not embed advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts. Hosting and delivery infrastructure may process access and security logs. Source downloads use temporary signed links to private object storage; visitors do not need a Senko account. Source archives are build materials, not exports of users' conversations.
Your choices and requests
In the iOS and Android apps, tap the key icon beside Settings on Home to open “About your data” and review what may be shared with AI services, who receives it, and why. This information screen does not change your provider settings or device permissions.
You can delete conversations, manage local files and backups, disconnect integrations, choose a different provider, and adjust permissions. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority.
To exercise a right or request deletion of managed-service records, email [email protected]. Include the account identifier shown in the app if available, but never send API keys, passwords, or full purchase credentials. We may request enough information to verify ownership. Deleting data or uninstalling Senko does not cancel a store subscription; manage that separately with Apple or Google.
Children and policy updates
Senko is not directed to children under 13. If your local law requires a higher age or parental authorization, that requirement also applies. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information without the required authorization.
We will update this page when our practices change and provide additional notice or seek consent when required. The date below identifies this version.
